Lee Miller is as well known for her personal life as she is for her fine art photography. Her work consisted of portraits and photojournalism. She seems to have been at the right place at the right time to capture many pivotal moments of the twentieth century. Her photojournalism centered on war photography and her portraits included Pablo Picasso.
